I woke up to a radio station discussion of the plane crashes into
the WTCs wondering what the hell they were talking about, thinking
the DJ on this particular radio station was being silly as usual.
But I found out very quickly, after turning on the TV (unable to get
any channel but CBS), that this was indeed a very serious matter!
Shortly thereafter, listening to the shaky voices of news reporters,
hearing that the Pentagon had been hit also, and then watching as
the towers collapsed, I felt like I was watching something surreal,
or out of a movie. It began to feel like time was just standing
still, and feelings of disbelief, fear, shock and horror took hold.
