After two days, this whole thing is still a bit incomprehensible. Like most of us, I count myself as fortunate because I only witnessed most of the horror on television, but a part of it came a bit too close to me and my co-workers. I work for a federal government agency in DC, and our building is right across the Potomac from the Pentagon and National Airport -- nothing much between us and those sites but the river and a couple of highways.
