When I heard the news, I did the only three things I could think of to do. I donated blood, I lit candles in our front windows and hung the American flag on my house. Candles speak of light and hope. Terror lives in the dark. Lighting candles after dark might give each of us a glimmer of hope that our future, though it may forever be changed, still holds promise. I'd like to invite each of you to consider doing the same and encouraging others, as well. |
